Branded work jackets and softshells
Your team recognisable. Outdoors too.
Branded work jackets make your team recognisable during customer visits and on site. SDLG in Breda helps choose jackets and softshells for your working day and clothing range. Embroidery or printing is assessed for model, fabric and position.

Careful choices make the difference
Branded work jackets: visible on the right layer
A jacket is often the most visible garment outdoors. The logo must work with seams, pockets, fastenings and reflective areas. Describe use and necessary properties, such as movement or weather protection.
Softshells, lined jackets and technical fabrics need assessment per model. Embroidery or printing may affect surface properties. SDLG checks logo detail; protective or certified clothing is not assumed suitable for every process without agreement.
Options
A jacket must still do its job.
Tell us time spent outdoors, activity and clothing underneath. We can compare softshell, lined or other outer layers. Consider length, hood, pockets and fastening as well as season. The term softshell does not guarantee waterproofing; product specification and construction determine this.
Service and field teams
A recognisable chest logo identifies staff during customer visits. Combine with workwear for indoors.
A team on site
A suitable back mark can improve recognition. Specify logo size and whether staff often wear a bag or equipment.
Additions to existing jackets
Supply item number and a photograph of the existing result. We assess whether the model and personalisation can be matched.
Choices & specification
Material and construction guide the choice.
01
Fabric and finish
Supply brand, item number, composition and product information. Coatings or membranes may limit choices: embroidery needles pierce fabric, while transfers need heat and suitable adhesion. Dyes may also affect printing. We assess each item and do not automatically transfer properties from a blank jacket to a personalised one.
02
Accessible logo position
Mark the area on a photograph and specify logo width. Zips, pockets, lining and seams limit access. Some models have an opening for personalisation; we check product details. For back logos, allow for a hood, backpack or equipment that may cover the artwork.
03
Suitable finishing
Compare embroidery and printing for logo detail, size and the chosen jacket. Small chest and large back designs may need different processes. For a new combination, we discuss whether a trial is useful, what it needs to demonstrate and any costs; it is not included as standard.
Tell us functional requirements, such as waterproofing or a prescribed specification, before personalisation. We do not automatically assume the properties of an undecorated garment remain unchanged.
Preparing your enquiry
This helps us get started.
- Tasks, season and required properties.
- Brand, item number or intended jacket style.
- Colours and quantities per size.
- Logo, position and dimensions.
- Clothing requirements, date and delivery location.
After contact, email front and back photographs, product details and original logo. Mark positions and describe left or right from the wearer’s perspective. Use our sample size list for model, colour, size and quantity. Record names separately and compare sizes allowing for the sweatshirt or other layers underneath.
From idea to proposal
What affects the price?
Model, quantities, logo size, process and positions determine the quotation. Access, individual names and an agreed trial may require more preparation. Include a budget for the jacket with personalisation so we can compare the combination.
SDLG works from Breda and delivers personalised clothing throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Visits and collection at Heusing 10K are by appointment only. Specify the required receipt date and delivery location; the proposal includes schedule and shipping costs. See our contact details and directions to our workshop.
Your first idea is enough to start a conversation.
Can every softshell be embroidered?
We assess each item. Construction, fabric and required properties determine suitability.
Does a jacket automatically remain waterproof after embroidery?
We cannot promise this generally. Needlework and position may affect properties. Specify functional requirements beforehand so we can assess the process.
Can a large logo go on the back?
This depends on the clear area, seams, lining and process. Supply intended size and model.
Can you add to an existing jacket order?
Include previous order or product details and a photograph. We recheck availability, colour and specification before confirming the repeat order.
Can I personalise my own work jackets?
Supply brand, item number, material, quantity and photographs of the position first. Say whether jackets are new, worn or already personalised. We assess the combination and confirm supply arrangements before you bring or ship them. Not every jacket or finish suits an extra process.
How do I care for a jacket with a logo?
Follow instructions for both jacket and personalisation. Washing, drying and treatment of water-repellent layers vary per item. Avoid one general temperature for all team jackets. Share any fixed business washing procedure when enquiring so it informs the choice.
From idea to finished product
