    Careful choices make the difference

Clothing printing with colour and comfort in mind

A print can stand out while still suiting how the garment is worn. A compact chest logo, broad back print and campaign image each need different proportions. Check the artwork on the smallest and largest ordered sizes, especially for a wide image.

Fabric, base colour, stretch and use help determine the suitable process. A large solid area feels different from an open line drawing. SDLG checks the logo and detail on the chosen product. Say whether the clothing is for daily work, sport, an event or merchandise; this helps guide fabric choice and care advice.

    Options

    Show who you are.

A team shirt needs to be recognised at a distance; clothing for daily customer contact may call for a subtle brand detail. We consider what the wearer does and what visitors need to see, then choose position, size and a suitable printing process.

    Business and team

Coordinate shirts, sweatshirts and other garments. For different roles or layers, explore branded workwear.

    Promotion or event

A campaign image, date or message may be the main feature for a particular occasion. Specify how often the clothing will be worn and the event date.

    Logo and personal text

Combine a fixed logo with a name or job title. Make clear which details stay the same and which change for each person.

    Choices & specification

First the design. Then the process.

    01

    Colour and detail

A logo, photograph and colour gradient each need different preparation. Supply the original file, preferably a vector for logos. For photographs, we assess resolution at the intended print size. A screenshot is often insufficient.

    02

    Fabric and garment colour

Cotton, polyester, blends and stretch sportswear need a suitable process. Coatings and specialist finishes matter too. Read why a white logo can change colour on polyester. A successful print on one shirt does not mean the same method suits every jacket or sports shirt.

    03

    Size and position

A back print allows a larger image; a chest logo gives a subtle brand detail. Check wide designs on the smallest garment size too. Leave seams, zips and pockets clear and specify whether every size uses the same print dimensions or an adjusted size.

With a DTF transfer, artwork is printed onto a film and then applied with heat to suitable fabric. It can suit colourful logos and different quantities. Fabric, finish and use remain decisive. You do not need to select the process yourself: tell us how the garment should look and function.

    Preparing your enquiry

    This helps us get started.

    • Garment type, colour and fabric composition, if known.
    • Artwork and required print positions.
    • Required dimensions of each print.
    • Quantities per size, with variable text listed separately.
    • Use, required receipt date and delivery location.

Only have a sketch or a previously printed example? Send it after initial contact. We discuss whether further artwork preparation is needed.

    From idea to proposal

    What affects the price?

The garment, process, print sizes, number of positions and quantity affect the price. One fixed design for a team needs different preparation from individual names or several images.

We deliver printed clothing throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Meetings and collection in Breda are by appointment. Specify receipt date and delivery location; the proposal includes schedule and any shipping costs. See our contact details and directions.

Your first idea is enough to start a conversation.

    Useful to know

    Frequently asked questions.

Have a different question? Ask us about your project.

Can I have my own shirts or workwear printed?

Send brand or model, colour, fabric composition and quantities for assessment first. Existing prints, coatings, seams and stretch may limit options. We discuss suitability before you bring or ship clothing; supplying your own item does not guarantee it can be printed.

How do I care for printed clothing?

Follow both the garment care label and the print care advice, using the stricter instruction. Suitable temperatures, tumble drying and ironing depend on the combination. Tell us about intensive washing or professional cleaning before ordering so it can inform the choice.

Can you print a full-colour design?

On suitable clothing, this can be discussed. Share the original artwork and proposed garment so we can assess detail, colour and process together.

Do I need to choose DTF or another process myself?

No. Tell us what you want to make, on which garments and how they will be used. We advise on the process and specify it in the proposal.

Can embroidery and printing be used on one garment?

Where suitable, yes: for example, an embroidered chest logo and a printed back. Positions, fabric and artwork are assessed together.

Can I enquire about a smaller quantity?

Business workwear enquiries on this page start from 10 garments. For a smaller personal or specialist request, describe the item and quantity first; we assess preparation and garment choice before confirming whether it can be offered, with price and schedule.
