Custom stickers

Your brand in the right place.

Custom stickers for packaging, products or a promotion? SDLG in Breda advises on shape, material and artwork. We start with the application so appearance, adhesion and handling work together.

Careful choices make the difference

Custom stickers: the surface determines the choice

A packaging sticker is used differently from one on a window, machine or vehicle. Material, texture, curvature and exposure affect backing and adhesive. Specify not just size but the exact surface and intended duration.

SDLG checks your logo and achievable detail. A custom contour needs space around the image for clean cutting. Very narrow projections or tiny separate parts may be harder to handle. Clear, white and other surfaces also affect colour; we discuss the specification for your application.

Options

The application guides the choice.

Tell us where the sticker goes first. An indoor box differs from an outdoor surface or one cleaned frequently. Use determines backing, adhesive and finish. We then agree shape and layout.

Packaging and brand experience

A logo, thank-you message or seal can coordinate different packaging. Match colour and typography with your business cards.

Promotion and information

Show a promotion, brief message or product information. Say whether the sticker is temporary and how it will be applied.

Larger surfaces

For vehicles, see vehicle lettering. For windows or other business surfaces, we discuss placement and installation separately.

Choices & specification

Shape, adhesion and surroundings.

01

The surface

Supply the material name and a photograph of the actual surface. Glass, cardboard, plastic, paint and powder coating can adhere differently. Describe texture, curvature and whether packaging flexes. A clean, dry, grease-free surface matters but cannot make an unsuitable sticker suitable. If needed, we discuss a trial on the actual product first.

02

Duration of use

Specify duration and whether later removal matters. Permanent adhesion and temporary removable use need different choices. Declare outdoor use, refrigeration, moisture, cleaning and temperature changes. We confirm expected life and limitations for the chosen combination; permanent does not mean unlimited resistance to every condition.

03

Shape and handling

Round, rectangular or a custom contour: provide outer dimensions and cut line, keeping small text away from edges. Individual stickers suit handing out; sheets or rolls may suit repeated application. Describe manual or machine handling. Machine use needs agreement on winding direction, core and spacing, among other details.

A sticker is not automatically suitable for every surface or use. Declare special requirements such as outdoor exposure or removability. These are confirmed for the selected specification.

Preparing your enquiry

This helps us get started.

  • Application, surface and preferably a photograph.
  • Indoor or outdoor use and intended duration.
  • Size, shape and number of designs.
  • Quantities and preference for individual stickers, sheets or rolls.
  • Logo or file, required date and any installation location.

After contact, send original artwork and any custom contour. Name each variant clearly and specify size and quantity. For transparent material, we discuss which areas need opacity; without a suitable underlayer, background colours can show through. See our artwork guidance; cut line, bleed and any white ink are agreed for the specification.

From idea to proposal

What affects the price?

Material, adhesive, size, cutting shape, finish and number of designs determine price. For rolls, explain how you apply the stickers to inform the specification.

SDLG works from Breda and delivers products throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Visits and collection at Heusing 10K are by appointment only. Specify the required receipt date and delivery location; the proposal includes schedule and shipping costs. See our contact details and directions to our workshop.

Your first idea is enough to start a conversation.

Useful to know

Frequently asked questions.

Have a different question? Ask us about your project.

Can stickers have a custom shape?

With a suitable specification, stickers can follow your artwork contour. Shape and fine details must be practical to produce and use; we assess the file beforehand.

Are all stickers water resistant?

No. This depends on backing, adhesive, printing and finishing. Describe water exposure and cleaning so we can discuss the right specification.

Can a sticker later be removed without residue?

This depends on sticker, surface, duration and conditions. Specify removability beforehand; we do not promise residue-free removal for an unknown combination.

Do you also apply the stickers?

For suitable signage projects, we discuss supply and installation around Breda. Share location, surface and dimensions so we can assess the work.

Can one design be used at several sticker sizes?

We can discuss this. Supply dimensions and quantities for each version. Smaller artwork also means smaller letters, lines and margins, so we assess legibility for every size. A compact version without a small strapline may work better, preserving recognition without unreadable detail.

How do I order stickers for several product variants?

List item name or variant code, filename, size and quantity. Keep similar designs clearly identifiable. We discuss variant distribution on rolls or sheets. If codes or numbers change per sticker, specify this separately; we confirm available production and data requirements first.
