CampPlus: 111 identification plates with sequential numbering

For CampPlus, SDLG produced 111 identification plates with a logo and sequential numbers. Material advice, engraving, cutting and four mounting holes came together in one practical batch.

111 identification plates: the project at a glance

111 recognisable identification plates, each with its own number. For CampPlus, SDLG made a batch of engraved plates for private sanitary units at campsites. We advised on the material, prepared the sequential numbering and laser-cut the plates and mounting holes. The project was delivered in February 2026.

The request: identification plates for outdoor sanitary units

CampPlus wanted 9 × 9 cm identification plates with four holes, one in each corner. Each plate needed the company logo and a sequential number. The plates were intended for outdoor sanitary units at campsites: consistent branding, with individual identification for each unit.

The initial request specified 316 stainless steel. Speed also mattered. SDLG therefore explored an available material with the customer that would achieve the desired appearance.

A suitable material available from stock

SDLG did not routinely hold 316 stainless steel in stock for this order. Rowmark plastic was available. We showed CampPlus a version with a brushed aluminium appearance. For this batch, the 1.6 mm thick version was used.

The result has a silver-coloured surface with dark engraving. The supplied plates are plastic with a metallic appearance. In addition to the four mounting holes, they have a 3M adhesive layer on the back, allowing attachment to a suitable surface.

One design, 111 individual numbers

SDLG set up the engraving file for sequential numbering. The CampPlus logo, text and web address stayed the same; the number changed on each plate. This produced a consistent batch in which each item can be identified individually.

We carried out both the engraving and the cutting of the sheet material from our own stock. The four corner holes were also laser-cut. Read more about this process in batch engraving with variable data.

The result: recognisable and practical to mount

CampPlus received 111 numbered identification plates for its sanitary units. Consistent engraving gives a recognisable presentation, while the numbers distinguish individual units. Corner holes and an adhesive layer provide mounting options.

By advising on a material available from stock, SDLG could respond quickly. This project shows how material advice, variable-data preparation, engraving and cutting can combine in one practical solution.
