T-shirt printing
A strong design. The right shirt.
Print T-shirts for your team, event or brand. SDLG in Breda advises on a comfortable shirt and a distinctive design. From a small chest logo to a creative back print, model, fabric and position work together.

Illustrative example. We agree the material, details and specification for your product.
Careful choices make the difference
T-shirt printing suited to the occasion
Promotional shirts, daily work clothing and merchandise are used differently. Tell us how often the shirt will be worn, by whom and in which conditions. Fit, colour and fabric feel contribute to appearance as much as the print.
For large artwork, proportions across ordered sizes matter. A design that looks restrained on a large shirt may fill the front of a small size. SDLG assesses logo detail alongside the selected shirt. Specify any individual names, roles or back numbers.
Options
Start with who wears the shirt.
A one-off event shirt differs from clothing staff wear every week. Tell us use, fit and intended appearance so we can compare fabric, model and design. A size list avoids allocating a good batch incorrectly.
A recognisable team
A restrained chest print may suit daily customer contact. Coordinate garments in one workwear plan.
A campaign in view
For an offer or exhibition, artwork can have more space. Keep the main message legible and choose a print position visible at a distance.
Names and variants
Different names, departments or designs can be discussed. Specify quantity, colour and sizes per variant so allocation is clear.
Choices & specification
Shirt and print form one product.
01
Fabric and fit
Cotton, polyester and blends feel and behave differently. Compare fit, length, neckline and weight alongside colour. A heavier shirt is not automatically best for a warm event. Include an existing item number if matching clothing your team already wears.
02
Artwork and process
A simple logo, photograph, gradient and large solid area need different preparation. Fabric and shirt colour inform process choice; printing may affect how the decorated area feels. For large artwork, we consider whether open space keeps the intended appearance. Read more about clothing printing.
03
Position and sizes
Specify print width and position relative to neckline, seams or hem. One print size looks larger on a small shirt than on a relaxed model. We discuss whether one size suits the breakdown or two sizes are useful. A physical sample or trial, including costs, is agreed separately.
Follow both garment label and print care advice when washing. Finishing is chosen for the shirt and intended use.
Preparing your enquiry
This helps us get started.
- Purpose and how often shirts will be worn.
- Model, colour or an existing item number.
- Quantity per size and any design variants.
- Logo or artwork and print positions.
- Required receipt date and delivery location.
Email the original artwork after contact: preferably a vector for a logo or a sufficiently clear image at intended print size. Renaming a file as PDF does not make it sharper. See our artwork guidance. For team orders, use the sample size list and put different names or designs in separate columns.
From idea to proposal
What affects the price?
Shirt, quantity, print positions and artwork size determine the price. Different names or designs are included separately so the total order cost is clear.
SDLG works from Breda and delivers personalised clothing throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Visits and collection at Heusing 10K are by appointment only. Specify the required receipt date and delivery location; the proposal includes schedule and shipping costs. See our contact details and directions to our workshop.
Your first idea is enough to start a conversation.
Can one order include different sizes?
Yes, specify quantity per size for each model and colour. Availability or price differences between sizes are included in the proposal.
Which printing process should I choose?
You do not need to decide beforehand. Supply artwork and clothing requirements; we compare options for fabric, colour, detail and use.
Can I have my own T-shirts printed?
We discuss this using brand, item, material and condition. Send product details first; supply clothing only after agreeing the specification.
Can I reorder the same shirts later?
Include previous order, product and quantities. We check model, colours and availability before confirming additions.
Can one design work on light and dark shirts?
Often, but contrast and print construction may differ. Dark text disappears on a dark shirt, for example. Supply available logo versions and all garment colours. We discuss whether a lighter version or another specification is needed.
Can I enquire about a small batch for a gift or group?
Yes, include quantity and occasion. Preparation, shirt choice and print positions affect price even for small orders. Options and schedule are confirmed for each enquiry. For another personal product, explore our personalised gifts page .
From idea to finished product
What story belongs on your shirt?
Describe the recipients, artwork and expected quantity. Include shirt colour, sizes, chest or back position and required date. You do not need to know the printing process; we advise from the artwork and use.
