Roll-up banners
Quick to set up. Clearly seen.
Roll-up banners for an exhibition, presentation or reception area? SDLG in Breda helps choose a suitable system and artwork that clearly identifies your business. We advise on size, visibility and transport so the banner suits its use.

Illustrative roll-up example. Cassette, material and size are selected for each order.
Careful choices make the difference
Roll-up banners that are clear at a distance
A roll-up banner is often first seen from several metres away. A clear headline and recognisable image matter more than small explanations. Position the main message where it remains visible with a table or counter in front.
The artwork must suit the selected system, including areas hidden in the cassette. SDLG checks your logo and detail at intended size. Describe where and how often you will use it and whether transport matters. A standard indoor roll-up is not automatically suitable outdoors.
Options
One glance should be enough.
A roll-up works best when its message stays clear among other displays. Choose a recognisable identity, one main message and a logical next step. Keep important information visible around tables, counters and visitors. Consider the position as well as the artwork.
Exhibitions and events
Give your stand a recognisable focal point. Combine with flyers for information visitors can take away.
Reception and presentations
A banner can welcome visitors or highlight a service. Choose size for the available floor area and visitor route.
A complete brand presentation
Coordinate banner, T-shirts and printing. Use the same colours and main message, adapted to each item.
Choices & specification
Choose for use, transport and space.
01
Cassette and size
Measure floor space and height. Allow for feet, supports and assembly space as well as print width. Say whether the banner stays in one location or travels frequently. This informs cassette and packaging choices. The quotation specifies system, print material and any carry bag; specifications do not all include the same parts.
02
Print and viewing distance
Place your identity and main message at the top. Mention any table, counter or product in front that might hide the lower area. Use one strong image and put detail on a matching flyer. Position a QR code at a reachable height with sufficient contrast and clear space, where someone can pause.
03
Artwork and visible area
Agree the system first, then prepare the file using its template. File dimensions are not automatically the visible area: material disappears into the cassette and a top profile may occupy space. Keep important details within marked margins. Extend backgrounds where the template requires, without placing contact details there.
A standard indoor roll-up is not automatically suitable outdoors or in wind. Describe the location so we can discuss an appropriate specification.
Preparing your enquiry
This helps us get started.
- Location and frequency of use.
- Available width, height and viewing distance.
- Number of banners and different designs.
- Logo, main message, images and contact details.
- Required receipt date and transport or packaging preferences.
After contact, supply your logo, main message and original-quality images. A small website photograph may not be sharp enough for a large print. Use our artwork guidance and the selected system’s template. For several banners, identify the design for each system. Any layout work and corrections are included in the proposal.
From idea to proposal
What affects the price?
System, size, print material, number of designs and layout work determine the quotation. To assess a replacement print for an existing cassette, we need brand, model, dimensions and photographs. Include first use and receipt dates, allowing time to set up and complete your presentation kit.
SDLG works from Breda and delivers products throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Visits and collection at Heusing 10K are by appointment only. Specify the required receipt date and delivery location; the proposal includes schedule and shipping costs. See our contact details and directions to our workshop.
Your first idea is enough to start a conversation.
Does the order include a complete system and print?
That is the usual starting point for a new roll-up enquiry. The quotation identifies cassette, print and any carry bag or other parts of the selected kit.
Can a roll-up stand outdoors?
Not every specification is suitable. Specify outdoor use and placement conditions beforehand; we do not treat a standard indoor model as a wind-resistant outdoor product.
Can you replace the print in my existing system?
This depends on brand, model and condition. Supply photographs and dimensions; we assess compatibility before proposing a separate print.
How should I supply the artwork?
Use the selected system’s template. Keep important text within the visible area and allow margins at the cassette and edges. Exact requirements are agreed beforehand.
Can several roll-ups form one presentation?
Yes, with a shared style and clear division of subjects. Supply arrangement and available width. Keep each banner understandable independently: feet and gaps prevent automatic seamless image alignment. Align recognisable elements and check areas hidden behind tables or counters.
Can my roll-up include a QR code?
Yes. Supply the correct active destination. Place the code at a reachable height with a clear invitation, sufficient contrast and clear space. Test at final size and expected distance. Include a readable web address so scanning is not the only route.
From idea to finished product
Where will you present your business?
