Business cards
A good conversation deserves a good business card.
Printed business cards that leave an impression after the conversation? SDLG in Breda advises on a recognisable design, suitable paper and neat finish. For one business owner or an entire team, with clear contact details and individual character.

Illustrative example. Material, details and specification are agreed for your project.
Careful choices make the difference
Business cards that continue the conversation
A business card should help someone find you again. Start with name, role, business name and preferred contact route. A clear layout with visual space reads more easily than giving every service equal emphasis.
Paper and finishing affect how the card feels. SDLG checks your logo and detail at final size. Correct dimensions, bleed and safe margins matter for printing. Supply original artwork when available; a screenshot is not a reliable basis for sharp printing.
Options
Make the next step easy.
After a conversation, recipients should quickly see who you are and how to reach you. Start with key details and one clear next step. A calm layout gives name, role and contact details room. The back can carry extra information without crowding the front.
Personal contact
A card for conversations, appointments and networking. Specify the contact details that should stand out.
A recognisable team
One brand identity with different names and roles. Supply a checked list of details for each version.
Part of a presentation
Combine your card with stickers or other printing. For a personal thank-you, include engraved business gifts in your enquiry.
Choices & specification
Paper contributes to the appearance.
01
Format and layout
A common format is 85 × 55 mm. Choose one or two printed sides and assess at actual size. Allow for the longest name, a long email address and a two-line role. Keep important details away from the cut edge; a calm back can provide room for a short brand promise or appointment note.
02
Paper and feel
Paper weight, surface and tint together determine feel. Higher weight does not tell the whole story about thickness or stiffness. An uncoated natural surface differs from smooth paper; the same colour may look different. Describe whether you want a restrained, substantial or striking appearance so we can discuss paper.
03
Finishing and use
Matt lamination gives a quieter surface; gloss can make colours stronger. Finish must suit the paper. Need to add appointments, prices or notes? Choose a writable area deliberately: a laminated side is not automatically suitable. Specify the side so layout and production suit its use.
For a QR code, supply a working destination and test at final size. Keep key contact details visible so the card remains understandable without scanning.
Preparing your enquiry
This helps us get started.
- Total quantity and number of name versions.
- Front and back, or help needed with layout.
- Checked names, roles and contact details.
- Format and preferred paper and finish.
- Required receipt date and delivery location.
After contact, email a print PDF or original logo and text. For several employees, use one list with name, role, phone, email and quantity per version. Check accents and long names too. We agree front and back, bleed, safe margins and fonts for the specification. See our artwork and file guide.
From idea to proposal
What affects the price?
Quantity per name version, paper, printed sides, finish and layout work determine price. Split quantities by employee; not everyone needs the same stock. Specify a reprint or new design. For reprints, we check which details and specifications should stay and which have changed.
SDLG works from Breda and delivers products throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Visits and collection at Heusing 10K are by appointment only. Specify the required receipt date and delivery location; the proposal includes schedule and shipping costs. See our contact details and directions to our workshop.
Your first idea is enough to start a conversation.
Can every team member have their own card?
Yes. Supply correct details and quantity per version. A consistent layout makes differences intentional and checkable.
Can you help if I do not have a print file?
Share logo, text and an example of the desired appearance. We discuss layout work and include it in the enquiry.
Can I write on every business card?
Paper and finish affect this. Say whether you want to write appointments or notes so we can choose a suitable specification.
Will a screen colour look exactly the same on paper?
Screens and printing reproduce colour differently. Paper and finishing also affect the result. Share important brand colours and discuss special colour requirements beforehand.
Can I order more cards for a new employee later?
We can discuss an addition based on the existing layout. Supply correct details, quantity and preferably the previous order reference. We recheck paper and finish availability. A reprint is a new production run; we cannot promise an exactly identical colour impression between runs beforehand.
Can a business card also serve as an appointment card?
Yes, this can be a useful application. Reserve a clear area for date, time or notes and specify the writing tool. Paper and finish must suit that use. A QR code can provide more information, but appointment details should remain readable without scanning.
Give people more after the first contact.
A flyer provides room for your promotion or services. For an exhibition or presentation, carry the style through to a roll-up banner.
