Checking delivered workwear and reporting a discrepancy
Check quantities, artwork, placement and finishing when your workwear arrives. Learn which photos and order details help SDLG assess a discrepancy.

Short answer
Check delivered workwear against the approved order before distributing it. Count garments by model, size and colour, then compare the logo, placement and dimensions. Keep a possible discrepancy separate and record it with clear photographs and order details before returning or altering the item.
Check each version of the order
Use the packing list and your own size breakdown. For clothing with individual names, numbers or department logos, compare each version with the final list. An issue with quantity requires different information from an issue with artwork, so describe what you observe precisely.
- Artwork: is it the approved logo version?
- Size and placement: compare the agreed measurements and location on the same garment model.
- Legibility: check small letters, outlines and fine details on the fabric.
- Finishing: inspect the front and back, including loose threads, fabric distortion and print edges.
- Variants: check names and numbering against the approved list.
Prepare a useful report
Send SDLG your order reference, the garment model and size, and the number of affected items. Include a full garment photograph and a sharp detail photograph. Place a ruler beside the decoration if dimensions are in question. Explain how the result differs from the approved order.
If the item has already been worn or washed, describe the use and washing programme. Discuss the situation before repairing or changing it. Assessment depends on the order and the item’s actual condition; this guide does not establish new return conditions.
Keep internal handling clear
Record who received the garment, when a report was made and the agreed next step. Do not mark an item as available for issue while it is being assessed. Agree any return and packaging arrangements with SDLG first.
Prepare the next order
Keep the approved artwork, placement, dimensions and garment specification. Check availability and suitability again if the fabric, colour or model changes. See personalised workwear for a new project or contact SDLG about an existing order.
