Branded polo shirts
Smart, recognisable and comfortable to wear.
Embroidered or printed polo shirts give your team a smart, recognisable appearance. SDLG in Breda advises on fabric, fit and logo position, from a subtle chest logo for customer contact to a batch with individual names or roles.

Careful choices make the difference
Branded polo shirts: smart and recognisable
A polo shirt can give a team a smart appearance while allowing comfortable movement. Collar, fastening, fit and fabric structure determine its character. Choose model and colour first, then personalisation. Embroidery looks different on smooth and textured fabrics.
For a chest logo, distance from the fastening and space across sizes matter. SDLG checks your logo and discusses which details remain usable. Across different models, equivalent appearance matters more than copying one fixed size or position.
Options
A polo shirt suited to the work.
Look beyond colour. How much does the wearer move, will it go under a jacket and how is it washed? These answers guide fabric and fit, then we assess how the logo works on the polo.
Reception, showroom and hospitality
A subtle chest logo may be enough for recognition during personal contact. A smart fit contributes to the same appearance.
Field teams and daily work
Coordinate the polo with other layers. For a full combination, explore branded workwear.
Teams and events
Use the same logo style across sizes and fits. Include any names, roles or event text.
Choices & specification
Choose the polo and personalisation together.
01
Fabric and structure
Piqué has a visible raised texture; smooth fabric gives a different surface. Composition, stretch and weight affect comfort and personalisation. Consider collar, fastening and length too. Specify layering, freedom of movement and any particular washing routine.
02
Embroidery
A thread chest logo provides texture. Small letters or thin lines may be less clear on textured fabric. We assess your logo at the required size and discuss simplification, such as omitting a small strapline. Read more about polo shirt embroidery.
03
Printing
Printing may suit a larger design, gradient or extra text. Fastening, chest pockets and seams limit available space. A back logo has more room than a chest logo; we assess proportions on the smallest and largest sizes. Explore clothing printing for process choice.
Size labels differ between models. Use the selected product’s sizing information and say if you want to discuss fitting options first.
Preparing your enquiry
This helps us get started.
- Use and preferred fabric, model and fit.
- Garment colour and quantities per size.
- Logo or text and position.
- Preference for embroidery, printing or advice.
- Required date and any additional garments.
Use the sample size list (CSV) for quantity per model, colour and size. For individual names, add a separate column with exact spelling and position. Describe left and right from the wearer’s perspective so a chest logo goes on the correct side.
From idea to proposal
What affects the price?
Polo model, sizes, quantities, process and logo positions determine the quotation. Say whether every item has the same logo or names differ per person.
SDLG works from Breda and delivers personalised clothing throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Visits and collection at Heusing 10K are by appointment only. Specify the required receipt date and delivery location; the proposal includes schedule and shipping costs. See our contact details and directions to our workshop.
Your first idea is enough to start a conversation.
Which looks more businesslike: embroidery or printing?
Both can look smart. Embroidery gives texture; printing has a different surface and may suit a particular design better. Fabric and logo size determine the combination.
Can the same logo work on different fits?
We coordinate size and position for the models selected. The identity stays recognisable even when staff wear different fits or sizes.
Can you personalise my own polo shirts?
Supply brand, item number, composition, quantity and photographs of the position first. Say whether they are new or worn. We confirm suitability and supply arrangements beforehand; bring or ship them only after agreement.
How do I care for the polo and logo?
Follow both garment care label and personalisation advice. Suitable treatment depends on product and specification; there is no universal washing temperature.
Can a name appear beside the logo?
This can be discussed. Supply exact names, position and the longest name in the batch. Leave enough space for logo and name beside fastening and any pocket. We assess size and legibility for the model; the same position is not available on every polo.
Can polo shirts, sweatshirts and jackets share one colour range?
Yes, we can discuss a combination. The same colour name does not guarantee identical shades across fabrics. We compare model colours and choose suitable logo versions per garment. Explore branded workwear to assemble a complete kit.
