Laser engraving. A detail that lasts.

Laser engraving adds a logo to metal, names to drinking bottles or identification to a series of products: SDLG helps you choose the design, material and finish. We work for businesses and private customers from our workshop in Breda.

Laser engraving for your product and application

Start with the product and its purpose. You do not need to choose the laser source yourself. Tell us how the product will be used, what should appear on it and the finish you have in mind. We assess which process is suitable and achievable.

We engrave and cut suitable materials with our GCC Hybrid. A separate 20 watt fibre laser is available for suitable smaller products. For suitable cylindrical items we use a rotary attachment.

Technical background: Trotec’s explanation of CO₂ and fibre laser types.

Choose your material or application

We assess each material and surface finish before confirming the work. Stainless steel and aluminium can be marked or engraved where suitable. These services do not imply that we offer metal cutting as a standard service.

  • Materials: stainless steel, aluminium, wood, glass and acrylic.
  • Identification: identification plates, serial numbers, QR codes, barcodes, tool markings, tags and labels.
  • Personalised products: drinking bottles, pens, key rings, nameplates, name badges, serving boards and scented candles.
  • Business applications: branded plates, control panels, wayfinding, menu holders, table numbers, awards and trophies.

For cut-out shapes and components, discuss our laser cutting options. If you already own the products, send photos, material details and dimensions for assessment before shipping them to us.

Laser engraving: material, size and technique

The fibre laser has a working area of 120 × 120 mm. The other laser has a working area of 910 × 610 mm. For cylindrical products, the rotary attachment supports a maximum product diameter of 130 mm.

A machine working area is not the same as the maximum product size. Shape, height, coating, fixturing and access to the engraving position also determine what is possible. We assess these together for your project.

One design, or a series with different names and numbers

For identification plates, specify which details remain the same and which change per item. A clear data list helps us prepare serial numbers, names or other variable information. We also review the logo and the feasibility of fine details on the selected product.

For a corporate gift, tell us who will receive it and the occasion. A subtle logo and a personal name can give a practical product its own character.

What affects the price?

The product, material, engraving size and position, quantity and design preparation all affect the price. Different names or numbers may require additional preparation. Share your required receiving date so we can discuss the schedule and provide a proposal for the agreed specification.

Delivery and visits

We deliver products to the Netherlands and Belgium. Packaging, the delivery address and shipping costs are agreed in the proposal. Visits, drop-offs and collection at Heusing 10K in Breda are by appointment only.

Lead time: 1–5 working days, subject to stock availability. For larger projects, we agree the lead time individually. We confirm the schedule after checking stock and the proposed work. Delivery transit time is separate from production time.

Discuss your laser engraving project

Tell us the product or material, dimensions, quantity, desired engraving and receiving date. An initial idea is enough to start the conversation. Contact us in Dutch or English at info@sdlg.nl or +31 6 51 50 21 11.

A quotation request is not an order. We review the possibilities and prepare a suitable proposal; work starts after your approval.
